Ms. Kaplan joined SWN Communications Inc. in January 2008 as Senior Vice President & General Counsel, and was subsequently promoted to Chief Operating Officer. In her role, she has primary responsibility for the company's daily operations, as well as the company’s legal functions.

Before joining Send Word Now, Ms. Kaplan served as Vice President & Associate General Counsel for 24/7 Real Media, Inc., a digital marketing company, for approximately two and a half years. Prior to starting at 24/7 Real Media, Inc., Ms. Kaplan was employed for approximately four years as an Associate at the law firm of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York, where she worked in the corporate department and specialized in domestic and international capital markets transactions.

Ms. Kaplan received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude, and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, magna cum laude, where she was also an editor of the Law Review and the recipient of several honors for academic achievement. She is a member of the New York bar.
