Send Word Now Raises $14 million in Series D Financing

NEW YORK, NY – September 29, 2008. Send Word Now, the leading Software as a Service provider in Emergency Notification, On-Demand Alerting and Response Services, announced the completion of a Series D financing that will provide the company with $14 million to support its plans for continued growth. The current round of funding was led by Palisade Concentrated Equity Partnership II, L.P., a $140 million private equity fund managed by Palisade Capital Management, L.L.C., with continued support from existing investors Southpaw Asset Management LP and Ascend Venture Group, LLC.
