How do I log into my account?

Login access to the Emergency Notification and Incident Management dashboards are available directly from the home page of http://www.sendwordnow.com. Simply enter your username and password in the fields at the upper right corner of the home page and click the Login button to access the application. Similarly, you may also click on the "My Account" link in the top navigation bar of the site to go to the login page. Enter your username and password where indicated, then click the Login button below the password field. Your My Account page appears.


I'm having trouble logging in. What's wrong?

Is your CAPS LOCK enabled? Your username and password are case sensitive.

Forgot your password? Click the Forgot your Password? link, enter your username, and the password will be e-mailed to the account administrator's registered e-mail address.

Account locked out (too many incorrect password attempts)? Please contact SWN customer support for assistance. Dial (866) 955-2273.


What is my username and password?

Only authorized administrators and message senders have the ability to log into Send Word Now with a username and password. Occasionally, administrators send e-mail invitations to message recipients. The e-mails provide web links for recipients to click and update their contact information. If you recently received such an invitation and wish to make additional changes, your administrator must invite you. You do not have a username and password.

If you have been granted login privileges and trained to send messages, and you cannot recall your username and/or password, either contact the administrator who assigned you access or call Send Word Now Customer Support at (866) 955-2273. In order to assist you, Send Word Now will need to be able to verify your identity.


How do I change my password?

There is a link to change your password on your account Administration page. From the My Account page, click Administration. Scroll down until you see the Change Password link, and click it. The Change Password page appears. Enter your old password, your new password, and then re-type your new password. Send Word Now will confirm your change.


Do I always have to log in on the Web to send a message?

No. In addition to your account on the Web, Send Word Now offers these other ways to access and activate the service:

  • By phone 24x7x365: Dial 877-999-7363
  • E-mail (including Blackberry)
  • With your Palm Treo™ 600/650 smartphone
  • By web services using your organization's own software


Is my information secure?

Yes, absolutely. We never disclose confidential information to any third party, except for government and law enforcement officials when it is required by law (e.g., in compliance with a subpoena or court order) or if we believe in good faith that such action is appropriate and necessary to protect and defend our rights.


Can others use my account?

Only if you let them. If you give someone your account access information, they can use your account.
